I love to see God in action. But at times I ask questions - God loves adventures I think.
In my local church, we are in the month of “faith for the supernatural”. Though, we were all preparing to walk with God by faith. I never expected what has happened so far. Everything that could go wrong has been happening, each one with a great adrenalin!
I am writing this column after a meeting that nearly ended in disgrace and disappointment about our new building project.
Yesterday people prayed for our building project like never before. There was something in the air we could not placed our hands on. The faith level increased.
And so to receive an email asking us to stop the work this morning was disturbing. Options were weighed but by faith we told the workers to continue.
35 workers were to lose their jobs. Imagine the impact on their families.
Deadlines were not to be met.
A meeting was fixed for the judgement to fall, but something happened.
GOD STEPPED IN...
The officers came , but instead of judgement, they were taken aback by the quality of work we have been carrying out and how many people we have put to work in the community.
The approval we did not have before was given and what a sigh of relief to know that behind the scene is the hand of the Deity!
Now I know the greater the darkness- the more the glory
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”.
Your end will not be in disgrace. No matter the disappointment, receive the faith to go on!
