WHO IS A REAL MAN?

THE REAL MAN

Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future, behind every glory there is a story. The Holy Bible related to us in its book of Samuel (1Samuel 17) the story of how the oppressors of Israel; the Philistines gathered together in a place called Ephesdammim (translated as where blood is shed) at the brink of war. However, before the fighting could break out, with Israel already afraid, a Champion came out of the camp of the Philistines to challenge the Israelites. Israel then needed a man to answer the challenge of the infidel and save the face of the people of God. David then came forward. David took the first step that day towards becoming the man he later became, a King, a warrior, loved by God and men.
A real man is not an ordinary man, but and outstanding man; a man ready to do something out of the ordinary, take on a challenge that others are not willing to take on. In marriage, in business and in our day to day battles, the rules always change. There are occasion when you look at your situation and you become dumbfounded or speechless, however of you want to be something in life, you cannot afford to remain average and avoid challenges, you must be ready to take on the Lion and face your giant like David did.
Also, a real man is looking for reward. Remember that God changed the name of Abram to Abraham in order for Him to take him to the next level. You cannot do anything for God without Him rewarding you. As a man, seek to please God and you will find that He will reward you.
A man is a mystery packaged from heaven about to be revealed.
There is a process in your development. When David met the lion he was being trained for when he will face Goliath. When David led the destitute, eh was being trained on when he will rule of Israel. God will not give you a Goliath until you kill your lion. Your current battles are just training you for the upcoming ones.
Abner, the General of the Army did not know who David was. He took David to see King Saul, who is going to introduce you in life and destiny? however David went to the King with Goliath’s head in his hand, before too long David took over the position of General of the Army of Israel.
When a man has no money and no dream he is not a real man. When you become a real man everyone will want to associate with you. Examples abound of Abraham, Job and Solomon and so on. Job was a man of grace; he was rich and also spiritual. Before you climb a ladder you have to be careful in other not to fall in other words your foundation matters in everything in life. You must fortify yourself before you become a leader. You must develop stamina to survive in the midst of calamity. You have to be a man of Stature

It is also important to remember what God has done in your life in the past. Your past experience will make you overcome. David remembered the Bear and the Lion and Job remembered his past in the midst of his calamity and that was what kept him going. However, don’t wait until the day of battle before you start preparing, don’t do your rehearsal in the midst of your disgrace. The military train their soldiers with rubber bullets before they face the real battle. Always prepare ahead of time.

A real man is a man that stands up to take control when situations are bad whether at home, or when there is a challenge at work or in the Church. The real man also must have an enduring relationship with God. You must dress for where you are going, you must be a man of faith and secure your future. If you keep pretending the rest of your days, you’ll be a failure. If you do not take care of your children as a man, they will curse you and if they do, the curse will stand.

· A real man earns credit of respect: You don’t struggle for success, you attract it. Abraham had 300 children born in his compound; he was a man of influence.
· A real man is a social man: Christianity needs to be more inviting. We need to be sociable, friendly and bring more people in
· A real man is highly humble: Are you humble?
· A real man pursues after righteousness. Psalm 1:1-6
· The real man weeps and faces disappointment. Your anointing will always bring you crises because the anointing is supposed to be used to conquer.
The anointing is also for performance. To be a real man is to stand out, be a real man, impact your generation, decide not to die in a corner, stand out and fulfill your destiny.
